trusthchs in Britt, IA, seeks a flexible Unit Coordinator / CNA ED Scheduler to support nursing operations. You will coordinate paperwork in the nurse's station, handle admissions, discharges and transfers, answer phones, and greet patients and visitors.
Insurance authorizations may be reviewed as part of daily tasks. This full-time role requires strong organization, multitasking, basic computer and communication skills, and knowledge of nursing procedures.
Responsible for coordination and distribution of paperwork in the nurse's station, completion of admission/discharge/transfer paperwork, answering phones, greeting patients and visitors, and insurance authorizations and review.
Full-time, 72 hours a pay-period, Will work one 12-hour day shift as Unit Coordinator and two 12-hour shift as CNA/ED Registration scheduler a week, 6:15am-6:45 pm. Includes weekend and holiday rotation.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions. Must be able to frequently lift over 50 pounds.
