Job summary

trusthchs on the medical/surgical floor is seeking a CNA or LPN to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with psychosocial needs, care tasks, and general cleaning of units and equipment to maintain a safe, patient‑focused environment, with emphasis on teamwork.

The role also includes ED receptionist duties such as patient registration and switchboard coverage.

Qualifications

• C.N.A. or LPN required.
• Completion of certified nurse aide course or willingness to complete CNA course within four months from date of hire is required.
• Experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Will be responsible for providing patient cares, assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of patients and general cleaning of units and equipment under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse on the medical/surgical floor. Will also perform ED receptionist duties to include registration and switchboard duties.

HOURS

Full-time. 72 hours per pay period, 6:15 a.m.- 6:45 p.m. Includes every 3rd weekend and holiday.

QUALIFICATIONS

C.N.A. or LPN. Prefer high school graduate or equivalent. Completion of a certified nurse aide course or willing to complete C.N.A. course within four months from date of hire is required. Will work under direct supervision of C.N.A. and nursing staff until successful completion of the course. Experience preferred. Excellent computer skills are required.

PRIMARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions. Must be able to frequently lift over 60 pounds. Must be able to have good visual and auditory skills.
