Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, families, visitors, and physicians with exceptional service.
• Answer telephones, call bells, and intercoms, directing requests to the appropriate team members.
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining accurate patient information.
• Enter physician orders and update patient records using electronic medical record systems.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain reports and unit documentation.
• Support the daily operations of the nursing station by maintaining supplies and ensuring an organized work environment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote efficient workflows and positive patient experiences.
