McLaren Health Care Corporation seeks a part-time Unit Clerk to coordinate clerical activities in the Emergency Department, ensuring patient privacy and serving as the central communication source in the nursing station.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, keyboard skills, typing experience, medical terminology knowledge, and BLS certification within 3 months of hire. Preferred: prior unit clerk experience. Schedule: 7a-7:30p; 7p-7:30a.

Coordinates the clerical activities of the Emergency Department. Maintains patient privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and respects patients' rights. Functions as the focal communication source in the nursing station.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of keyboard/computer and typing experience
• Medical terminology knowledge
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire

Preferred:

• Previous experience or training as Unit Clerk
