Job summary

Mercyhealth seeks a unit clerk to support patient flow in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. You will process orders, answer calls, and direct visitors while maintaining patient records and assisting with billing and supply needs.

The role requires completion of a unit clerk course or equivalent and CPR/BLS certification within 90 days, with opportunities to float to units as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of Unit clerk course or equivalent on the job training.
• Proficiency with hospital information systems and patient records.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
