We are seeking a high-energy, organized, and compassionate Unit Clerk to serve as the administrative heartbeat of our unit. In this full-time first-shift role, you will welcome new residents, coordinate communication, and support clinical teams to ensure top-quality care and smooth daily operations.
Resident Onboarding: Greet new residents, assist with admission paperwork, and help families acclimate to the facility.
Resident Advocacy: Conduct follow-ups with new admissions to ensure a seamless, positive transition.
Communication Hub: Manage incoming calls, electronic communications, and in-person inquiries from families, staff, and external healthcare partners.
Unit Support: Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to address resident needs promptly.
Professional Standards: Maintain strict confidentiality, exercise sound independent judgment, and interact professionally with visitors and state agencies.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency for data entry and communication systems.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with a strong customer-service mindset.
