St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ is seeking a unit clerk to perform clerical duties for a patient care unit, helping to streamline information exchange between medical and nursing staff and maximize unit efficiency.

You will act as a resource between ancillary departments, assisting with ADT-based order entry, admissions, transfers, and discharges while supporting a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Job description

Qualifications

Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Work requires the ability to gather and interpret data in situation where the information or problems are not overly difficult or complex. Work requires the ability to exchange information on factual matters.
