Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a Unit Armorer / Physical Security Technical Instructor to deliver the 10-day Unit Armorer Certification Course and provide arms-room management and weapons PMCS at Fort Stewart, Georgia.

The role requires a Secret Security Clearance and 3–5 years of experience in arms-room operations or related Army logistics functions, with prior unit armorer experience strongly preferred; you will train Soldiers and support inspections while advising on accountability and security procedures.

Unit Armorer / Physical Security Technical Instructor

Position Summary: Provides formal instruction and field assistance for unit armorer operations, arms-room management, weapons accountability, weapons PMCS, and physical-security requirements. Location of work is Fort Stewart, Georgia.

Primary Duties

• Teach the 10-day Unit Armorer Certification Course
• Train Soldiers in arms-room management
• Train Soldiers in weapons maintenance and PMCS
• Support arms-room SAVs
• Assist Government inspection teams in physical-security and arms-room functional areas
• Provide onsite weapons PMCS assistance
• Advise units on accountability and security procedures
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable Army policies and regulations

Recommended Qualifications

• Secret Security Clearance
• Minimum three years of experience in arms-room operations, small-arms maintenance, physical security, or related Army logistics functions
• Prior unit armorer or comparable experience strongly preferred
• Hold recognized credentials such as the Army Basic Instructor Course, Foundation Instructor Facilitator Course, Cadre Training Course, or equivalent Department of the Army or TRADOC certification.
• Must demonstrate a minimum of three to five years of specialized experience in Army logistics doctrine, including Army Regulation 750-1, Army Regulation 710-2, Department of the Army Pamphlet 710-2-1, Department of the Army Pamphlet 710 2-2, and Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations hazardous material standards
