Job summary

LAUKOA seeks an Ammunition / HAZMAT / Environmental Technical Instructor to support Fort Stewart, GA. You will deliver safety courses, train on ammunition and fuel policies, and ensure compliance with environmental and CFR 49 requirements.

The role requires prior Army logistics experience, security clearance, and the ability to work on site in a DoD environment with cross-training in supply and maintenance tasks.

Ammunition / HAZMAT / Environmental Technical Instructor

Position Summary: Provides instruction and technical expertise related to ammunition, fuel handling, hazardous materials, environmental compliance, and associated logistics procedures. Location of work is Fort Stewart, Georgia.

Primary Duties

• Teach the Ammunition Fuel Handlers Certification Safety Course
• Train personnel on ammunition and fuel policies
• Support ASP, POL, HAZMAT, and hazardous-waste procedures
• Provide technical assistance on CFR 49 requirements
• Support SAVs and onsite assistance involving hazardous-material operations
• Assist with applicable inspections
• Maintain current knowledge of environmental and installation requirements
• Cross-train in supply and maintenance operations where appropriate

Recommended Qualifications

• Secret Security Clearance
• Minimum three years of Army ammunition, POL, HAZMAT, environmental, or logistics experience
• Appropriate certifications as required by the applicable training curriculum
• Hold recognized credentials such as the Army Basic Instructor Course, Foundation Instructor Facilitator Course, Cadre Training Course, or equivalent Department of Defense or TRADOC certification.
• Must demonstrate a minimum of three to five years of specialized experience in Army logistics doctrine, including Army Regulation 750-1, Army Regulation 710-2, Department of the Army Pamphlet 710-2-1, Department of the Army Pamphlet 710 2-2, and Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations hazardous material standards
