Posting Summary

Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a candidate to support the outreach and recruitment efforts of the Department of Visual, Media, and Performing Arts (VMPA). In this role, the successful candidate will help strengthen and maintain relationships with local high schools, colleges, and prospective students through outreach activities, school visits, and the preparation and distribution of recruitment communications.


The position will also serve as a resource for prospective students by responding to individual inquiries, assisting with portfolio review activities, and providing information about VMPA academic programs and opportunities. Additionally, the position will support department recruitment and engagement initiatives, including open houses, pre-college arts programs, and other events designed to introduce prospective students and families to VMPA and Rutgers-Camden.

Salary Details

A range of $15.92/hour - $30/hour.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience


  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Requires up to two years relevant experience in an administrative function, good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.

Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Also requires a minimum of three to five years of relevant professional experience in an administrative and/or supervisory function, excellent communication skills, and computer literacy.
