Union Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable individual to perform warehouse duties, including picking, sorting, labeling, and palletizing time-sensitive orders. Responsibilities also include restocking shelves, accepting incoming orders, inventory counting, and ensuring timely and accurate order shipments. The ideal candidate should work well in a team, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate dependability with good time management and documentation skills. Delivery driver responsibilities are also part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical tasks to lift and move inventory within the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and according to manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, follow safety procedures, and conduct daily safety inspections.
• Unload delivery vehicles, identify and break down materials, and note discrepancies.
• Store products correctly following established processes, possibly using light equipment.
• Pick and pack customer orders to meet standards and expectations.
• Operate a delivery vehicle to deliver orders, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a team and establish cooperative relationships.
• Previous experience as a Warehouse Associate.
• Valid driver’s license; Class E license encouraged (backup delivery driver).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols.
• Ability to work in unconditioned environments (hot/cold).
• Ability to lift objects weighing approximately 50 lbs, occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Physical ability to walk, bend, squat, kneel, push, pull, reach, climb ladders, and stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Basic reading, writing, math, computer skills, and attention to detail.
• High school diploma required.
• Must pass a fitness assessment.

Work Details

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Starting pay: $17.00/hour, depending on experience

Additional Information

DOT medical exam and Class E license required; CDL not necessary.
