Job description

Delivery Driver (box truck) and Warehouse Associate

Robertson Heating Supply Co., a 90-year-old distributor, is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver (box truck) and Warehouse Associate in the Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids area. The position will be based in Grand Rapids for training until the new branch opens in Kalamazoo.

Requirements:

• Chauffeur's license and valid Michigan DOT card
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Prior box truck driving experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Knowledge of forklift and hand cart operation

Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities include:

• Warehouse duties: pulling orders via inventory scanner, palletizing, labeling, staging, and basic warehouse maintenance
• Driving duties: loading, securing, and delivering orders in a 26' box truck, with training focusing more on warehouse tasks initially
• Completion of delivery paperwork, including signatures and filing
• Use of tablets and delivery systems (a plus)
