Tectonic is seeking an experienced full-time Survey Crew Chief to join its Land Surveying team in New York City. The NYC-based crew will lead field operations on diverse projects across the area, with a company vehicle provided for daily assignments.

Candidates should bring 6+ years of land surveying experience, strong knowledge of total stations, GPS, and data collectors, and the ability to manage field workflows and safety requirements.

Formación

• 6+ years of progressive land surveying experience, including crew leadership.
• Strong knowledge of total stations, data collectors, GPS and surveying equipment.
• Experience with construction stakeout and boundary/vertical/horizontal control.
• Ability to read civil, architectural plans and specs.
• Driver's license required; 40 Hour SST card or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise day-to-day field activities of the survey crew.
• Operate total stations, data collectors, GPS and related equipment.
• Perform field surveys and stakeouts using plans and maps.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and other crew members.
• Maintain equipment and company vehicle; ensure data quality and safety.
