Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Union Mobile HVAC Engineer to support a dynamic retail portfolio across the Armonk/Hudson area. This hands-on role involves preventive maintenance and responding to service requests across multiple sites to keep buildings running smoothly.

You start from home and travel to assigned sites in a CBRE company van, with gas card, tools, and uniforms provided. Maintain safety standards and communicate effectively with clients and management on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in building engineering (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• EPA Universal Certification (or obtained within 90 days) and required local licenses.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders for building systems and equipment.
• Inspect, operate, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Conduct facility inspections and report conditions impacting operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, complete hazard assessments, and comply with OSHA and local regulations.
• Use CMMS (e.g., Corrigo) to update work orders and document activities in real time.
• Communicate effectively with clients and management; work independently in the field.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles; complete required inspections and documentation.
