Job summary

Clarios, LLC seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily production in a union environment, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals while upholding the collective bargaining agreement.

The role develops hourly staff, enforces standard work, and drives continuous improvement aligned with plant goals, reporting on KPIs and coordinating with maintenance to minimize downtime.

Experience in union settings and shift flexibility are preferred to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a union manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Working knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, attendance, and disciplinary processes.
• Ability to work any assigned shift and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Plan labor, assign work, and manage staffing per production needs.
• Train and develop hourly employees to maintain standard work.
• Ensure compliance with union contract provisions.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
• Prepare operational and performance reports.
• Work assigned shifts and overtime as required.
