LeoForce in Providence, RI seeks a seasoned Union Labor Relations Manager to oversee all labor relations activities, craft union contracts, and guide strategic negotiations. The ideal candidate holds a JD, is licensed to practice in Rhode Island, and has 5+ years in labor relations within accounting/finance sectors.

You will collaborate with HR and management, interpret complex labor laws, and manage grievance procedures to protect the company and ensure compliant, practical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree preferred.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
• 5+ years of experience in labor relations, with focus on Accounting + Finance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of labor relations within the organization.
• Develop, implement, and manage company policies and procedures related to labor relations.
• Create and craft agreements, negotiate union contracts, and strategize negotiation tactics.
• Provide overall union contract administration, including language interpretation and guidance on labor issues.
• Oversee the grievance process, ensuring timely and satisfactory issue resolution.
• Collaborate with HR and management to ensure policy and labor law alignment.
• Advise management on labor law regulations, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with union representatives and employees.
