MDS Staffing is sourcing a skilled Commercial & Industrial HVAC Journeyman for a direct-hire role in Wisconsin (Green Bay, Milwaukee, or Madison). The target is a Union-scale $52.00/hr with a comprehensive pension, premium healthcare, on-call pay, and strong overtime potential.

First shift Mon–Fri, regionally supported by local pods and dispatchers. The role emphasizes diagnostics, maintenance management, electrical/controls fault-tracing, system commissioning, and client advisory services

Qualifications

• Requires HVAC 1 Industrial Journeyman Card and union membership or willingness to enroll.
• 3+ years of commercial/industrial service experience.
• Strong knowledge of motor controls, wiring diagnostics and building automation interfaces.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install large commercial/industrial HVAC systems at regional sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize performance and uptime.
• Diagnose electrical and control faults using point-to-point methods.
• Verify system commissioning and validate operational cycles for zero callbacks.
• Advise clients and work with facilities executives as a technical expert.
• Lead and mentor apprentices on the jobsite with dispatch support.
