Qualifications

• Mandatory Certificate of Qualification (Q-01/Q-99) for Refrigeration System Operating Engineer issued by the NYC Fire Department.
• At least five NYC Fire Department certificates of fitness: A35, F60, G60, S12, S13, S14, S95, F01, P98, P99.
• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building equipment.
• Lead and supervise shift personnel; ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain licenses and certificates; respond to emergencies.
• Coordinate with management and other disciplines; log rounds.
