Job summary

VEIT is seeking a Superintendent/Foreman to manage daily field operations, safety and project execution. You will lead crews, coordinate equipment and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with design, budget and schedule.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, the ability to read plans, and experience in safety program management across construction sites. Union environment and driving requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of related experience and/or training.
• OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety training.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, plans, specifications, and legal documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to use mobile devices.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities across management levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities with general superintendents and crews.
• Schedule subcontractors to meet project timeframes and budgets.
• Maintain a safe working environment and address hazards promptly.
• Prepare and participate in regular job-site meetings and pre-construction planning.
• Document safety issues, equipment damage, and workplace incidents.
