Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Union Benefits Auditor to conduct detailed audits of union benefits records, eligibility data, and monthly invoices. The role collaborates with HR, Payroll, Finance, Operations, and union benefit providers to resolve issues and ensure accuracy.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, organized, and proficient with Excel and HRIS/payroll systems. Spanish language ability is preferred for effective cross-functional communication across unions and vendors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in benefits, HRIS, payroll, auditing, accounting, or related analytical function.
• Strong knowledge of union benefits, eligibility, and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to interpret and apply Collective Bargaining Agreement provisions.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas, pivot tables).
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits, or union databases.

Responsibilities

• Audit and reconcile union benefits records across multiple systems.
• Reconcile membership, eligibility, and deductions against payroll records.
• Audit monthly union benefit invoices for pension, health, and other benefits.
• Perform roster reconciliations and investigate changes in status and participation.
• Analyze month-over-month trends and provide variance analyses to stakeholders.
• Identify discrepancies, coordinate corrective actions, and document findings.
• Support open enrollment, COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, and related compliance activities.
• Maintain audit documentation and data integrity across systems.
