Job summary

UG2 is seeking an experienced Union Benefits Auditor to conduct detailed audits and reconciliations of union benefit records, eligibility data, and monthly invoices. You will coordinate with Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Operations, and external union benefit providers to resolve issues while ensuring compliance with CBAs.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and proficient in Excel, HRIS, payroll data, and benefits systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in benefits, HRIS, payroll, auditing, or related analytical function.
• Knowledge of union benefits, eligibility, and reconciliation processes.
• Interpret and apply CBA language.
• Advanced Excel: sorting, filtering, formulas, pivot tables, data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Audit and reconcile union benefits across multiple databases and systems.
• Reconcile membership, eligibility, status, and deductions with payroll.
• Audit monthly benefit invoices for Pension, Training, Health & Welfare, and other contributions.
• Analyze changes in rosters and benefit costs with variance reporting.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and vendors.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports on benefits, eligibility, and costs.
