Playbill, Inc. is seeking a Stagehand – Audio/Video in New York for theatrical productions, performances, and events. The role reports to Production Management and may work under the direction of the A/V Lead or Production Supervisor.

It is a part-time, non-exempt union position with a pay rate of $30.60 per hour. The Stagehand supports audio, video, communication, and monitoring operations, participates in load-ins, rehearsals, and strikes, and collaborates with production staff, designers, and

Qualifications

• Previous theatrical audio/video or general stagehand experience preferred.
• Familiarity with professional audio/video systems, backstage communications, monitoring systems, and related equipment required.

Responsabilités

• Participates in load-ins, rehearsals, performances, changeovers, and strikes as assigned.
• Supports mic and equipment handoffs, stage-edge audio/video needs, and other backstage audio/video operations.
• Works with the A/V Lead, Production Supervisor and staff to support audio/video setup, sound checks, rehearsals, performances, and strikes.
