Manhattan School of Music invites applications for a Part-Time Stagehand - Audio/Video. The role supports audio, video, communication, and monitoring for theatre productions and events, reporting to Production Management and working under the day-to-day direction of the A/V Lead or Production Supervisor.

This position is non-exempt, union, with a per-hour rate of $30.60 and no set schedule; evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifikationen

• The role requires prior theatrical AV or stagehand experience.
• Familiarity with professional AV systems and backstage communications is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate hand/power tools as needed.

Aufgaben

• Participates in load-ins, rehearsals, performances, changeovers, and strikes as assigned.
• Works with production staff, stage management, designers, guest artists, and other stagehands.
• Supports AV setup, operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of backstage systems.
