Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade diploma with 1-2 years of related experience.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Experience using a digital multimeter to measure AC/DC voltage, amperage, and resistance.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements (lift 50 lbs).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist and execute assigned maintenance functions and activities under direct tutelage.
• Attend classroom instruction and join apprenticeship program requirements.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and company directives.
• Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Oversee outside contractors performing various services.
• Perform and record repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance.
• Review and complete assigned work orders.
• Maintain building lighting system and perform related repairs.
• Perform basic welding, carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks.
• Follow defined procedures with close supervision.
