Job summary

City of New Orleans Government is seeking a beginning level traffic control worker to enforce parking ordinances and regulate parked vehicles. This position requires readiness for shift work and uniform wear. The Parking Control Unit operates seven days a week on an extended schedule.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license; positions may require driving a twelve-passenger van. A background check will be conducted as part of the screening process.
