Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to configure, implement, and manage the enterprise unified communications infrastructure. Under supervision, you will support voice, video, messaging, and contact center technologies and work on related projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Cisco Voice certifications, and several years of VOIP/UC experience. Expect on-site work in Providence with on-call coverage and occasional travel to Brown locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, IS or related field preferred.
• Current Cisco Voice certifications (CCENT, CCT) are a plus.
• Solid understanding of telephony, TDM, VOIP, voice gateways IP, and network protocols.
• Four years related work experience with traditional telephony and at least two years with VOIP/UC.
