Job summary

The NCAS South administrator role is located in Las Vegas, NV within the Governor’s Technology Office, Unified Communications, and involves co-managing the statewide NCAS (C-CURE) with access control and video surveillance across state facilities.

The position supports information security programs, ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and coordinating with vendors, agencies, and training administrators to maintain security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/MIS and 3 years IT experience, journey level.
• Or 1 year of relevant experience as an IT Professional II in Nevada State service.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of security management practices, laws, policies and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Co-manage and maintain the NCAS software and platform (C-CURE).
• Manage user access, system configuration, billing and reporting; troubleshoot NCAS issues.
• Train partition administrators and coordinate with departments that installed NCAS.
• Implement and enforce access and video surveillance security protocols and policies.
