Job summary

• LAN, AD integrations, network design, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Summary

Supports organizational, business, and clinical objectives by insuring the optimal design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide voice, video, and data communications services. Supports business and clinical objectives by insuring the adherence to standards, maintenance, and functionality of technical aspects of converged network infrastructure. Researches the latest technology and how it relates to the data, voice, and video networks of MetroHealth. Monitors all networks and systems for maximum availability and performance. Evaluates vendor proposals and vendor solutions. Insures enterprise-wide network security and documentation. Communicates with user project sponsor(s) and management personnel concerning status of projects and systems. Provides tier one support including after-hours contact when needed. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications

Required

• CCNA Certification, Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent related work experience.
• One year of experience supporting or educational training using Cisco Unified Communications, web Collaboration, networking, and video conferencing systems.
• One year of experience supporting or educational training using IP/SIP trunking, & SBC deployments.
• Basic understanding of globalized +E.164 dial plans.
• LAN Knowledge, proxy servers, networking knowledge, network design and implementation, network troubleshooting, network hardware configuration, network performance tuning, and Active Directory integrations.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related discipline.
• Experience in large enterprise environments that include multiple site locations including work on Cisco Unified Communications systems and Cisco switched networks.
• Cisco CCNA.
• One year of experience supporting or educational training using enterprise contact center solutions.

Physical Requirements
