Job summary

Nexus Communications Technology (Nexuscomm LLC) in Schaumburg, IL is looking for a seasoned Ubiquiti UniFi Network & ICT Systems Technician, the ‘Unifi Networking wizard’, to lead on‑premise network and ICT system overhauls for multi‑site deployments.

You will drive deployments of 40–200 UniFi devices per project, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with low‑voltage teams to deliver integrated UniFi Network, Access, Protect and Connect solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and deploying Ubiquiti UniFi products.
• Proven history of leading end-to-end network and ICT system deployments in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site technical lead for ICT system overhauls and new installations, typically up to 10 days per project.
• Spearhead deployment of 40–200 Ubiquiti devices per project with high standards of performance and integration.
• Troubleshoot intricate network issues and apply innovative solutions to optimize network efficiency and reliability.
