The Employer Services Division is seeking a detail-oriented professional to serve as a SUTA Dumping Investigation/Unemployment Insurance Auditor 2. This position investigates suspected SUTA dumping and complex employer account activity, including ownership changes, business transfers, mergers, acquisitions, and successor relationships. The role also supports the administration of Professional Employer Organizations (PEO) accounts. Responsibilities include reviewing employer records, determining appropriate unemployment tax treatment, calculating assessments, and preparing formal determinations. The position works closely with employers, accountants, attorneys, state, and federal partners to resolve complex account issues. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, comfortable interpreting unemployment insurance law, and able to clearly communicate complex findings.
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $53,222.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package.
