Job summary

The 290 Employment Security Commission in Oklahoma City (and Tulsa) seeks an Adjudicator to evaluate unemployment claims in alignment with USDOL and state guidelines. This full-time position requires strong interviewing, data-entry, and analytical skills to issue non-monetary decisions.

You will conduct fact-finding, manage claim records, and ensure timely, accurate documentation for appeals. On-site work, regular hours, and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 5 years in employment services or related work.
• Equivalent education substitute: 30 college credits for 3 years experience.
• Experience with unemployment benefits or social services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure due process to employers and claimants per USDOL and state guidelines.
• Conduct fact-finding via phone, mail, and e‑mail to gather information for non‑monetary decisions.
• Enter claimant overpayments and maintain documentation for appeals.
• Ensure accurate data entry into the system and Claim Record Card for each file.
• Follow safety and security protocols and participate in required training.
