Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance has an exciting opportunity for an Underwriting Technician (UT) to join our West Region Construction Casualty team. This role would ideally be based out of our Los Angeles or Seattle office locations. The Underwriting Technician performs tasks to directly support all aspects of the underwriting team and underwriting process, including but not limited to data collection, analysis, proposal creation, policy binding and post-binding servicing. The Underwriting Technician works directly with all departments within our Casualty organization while coordinating information flow and operational support, as well as our external broker partners by supporting the teams’ marketing and policy issuance effort s.
NOTE:
The base salary range for this position is 60,000.00 to 80,000.00, along with annual bonus eligibility. Total compensation for a candidate is determined by their relevant skills, location, and experience.
