Qualifications

• Life insurance experience supporting case managers or medical underwriters in the policy life cycle.
• Ability to process work accurately while meeting productivity, quality, and timeliness standards.
• Proficiency with data entry and policy administration applications.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and customer service.
• Minimum of three years of life insurance underwriting support experience in an agency or carrier environment.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and SharePoint is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the case manager in completing carrier applications and follow up efforts.
• Monitor each case throughout underwriting, help Regional Vice Presidents establish timeline expectations, and escalate issues to the Case Manager when needed.
• Work with carriers to issue policies.
• Download application kits and populate available information for Case Manager review.
• Draft informal and formal cover letters for Case Manager review.
