Job summary

You will coordinate the pre-underwriting process, review applications, and request information from agents or staff.

In this role you will rate and issue workers' compensation and auto/other coverage, support underwriters, and collaborate with teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in underwriting function
• Experience working with internal/external clients
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Temporary position approximately 24 months

Responsibilities

• Provide high level underwriting support for new business quotes and policy issues
• Rate, issue, and assist in rating new business and renewal applications
• Coordinate pre-underwriting tasks including review of applications and requests for information
• Attend team and underwriting meetings and communicate with underwriters and agents to prioritize work
