Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an Underwriting Service Specialist to support a new product within the Executive Assurance team. You will help build workflows, develop SOPs, and drive change in collaboration with underwriters, corporate resources, and global teams.

The role emphasizes initiative, data-driven analysis, and strong communication to ensure accurate policy issuance, reporting, and effective service delivery across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience in underwriting or related field preferred.
• Experience building workflows and SOPs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review account information for data entry into appropriate systems
• Order, prepare and/or update reports
• Policy Rating and/or initial entry into rating model
• Processing of various underwriting transactions and requests

Position Description

At Arch, our operations teams help drive business growth by delivering exceptional service and efficient processes. This Underwriting Service Specialist role supports a new product within our Executive Assurance team, where workflows are still being established. We are seeking a creative problem solver with experience building workflows, developing SOPs, and driving change. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking initiative, collaborating cross-functionally, analyzing information, resolving issues, and adapting to evolving business needs while partnering with underwriters, corporate resources, and global teams to meet key commitments.

Responsibilities

• Policy & endorsement issuance

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

$47,600 – $79,900 dependent on location.

• Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
