Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an Underwriting Services Specialist who uses strong customer service, cross-functional collaboration, and software tools to meet SLA targets.

You will analyze information to determine appropriate actions and support moderately complex accounts through policy and endorsement processes. Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of insurance experience, knowledge of WC/GL/Property/Auto, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and/or insurance designation preferred.
• 2–5 years insurance experience in the industry.
• Experience with workers' compensation, general liability, property and/or commercial auto.

Responsabilidades

• Provide service delivery for moderately complicated accounts for policy & endorsement issuance.
• File documentation and set-up.
• Review account information for entry into appropriate systems ensuring data quality.
• Order, prepare and/or update reports.
• Policy rating and/or initial entry into rating model.
• Processing of underwriting transactions and requests.
• Communicate with internal functions and brokers as primary contact for assigned accounts.
• Booking and invoicing.
• Assume other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Summary:

The Underwriting Services Specialist utilizes customer service skills, established processes, and various software applications to achieve individual and unit targets and to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are met. The Underwriting Service Specialist works cross-functionally and is responsible for analyzing key pieces of information and determining the appropriate course of action.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Provide service delivery for moderately complicated accounts for policy & endorsement issuance
• File documentation and set-up
• Review account information for entry into appropriate systems that ensures quality data reporting
• Order, prepare and/or update reports
• Policy Rating and/or initial entry into rating model
• Processing of various underwriting transactions and requests
• Communicates with various internal functions as well as brokers to serve as key contact for assigned accounts
• Booking/Invoicing
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Insurance Designation preferred
• 2-5 years’ experience in Insurance industry
• Experience with WC, GL, Property and/or Commercial Auto

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

$55,300 - $82,700/year

• Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
