Job summary

Highmark Inc. Summer 2027 Underwriting Undergraduate Internship offers hands-on exposure to underwriting operations, pricing analysis, and financial evaluation within a dynamic healthcare and insurance environment.

Interns work with experienced underwriters on pricing for new and renewal business, assist with client reporting and data analysis, and contribute to underwriting tool development while building a foundation in financial decision‑making.

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. independently and we do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities

• Pricing and risk evaluation support for new and renewal business.
• Assist with client reporting activities and data analysis.
• Participate in projects to enhance underwriting tools and processes.
