Highmark Inc. invites you to join the Summer 2027 Underwriting Undergraduate Internship, designed to develop hands-on skills in underwriting operations, pricing analysis, and financial evaluation within a healthcare and insurance environment.

As part of the Labor & Education Underwriting Team, interns work with experienced underwriters to support new business and renewals, gain exposure to pricing, reporting, data analysis, and tool development, and build a foundation for professional growth

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Interest in underwriting, pricing and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing and risk evaluation for new and renewal business.
• Support client reporting activities.
• Analyze financial and business data.
• Participate in projects to enhance underwriting tools and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
