Job summary

Zurich North America is offering an Underwriting Internship for Summer 2027 in Houston. You will work alongside underwriting professionals, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to risk management strategies and client relationships.

You will learn underwriting fundamentals through mentorship, support financial reporting and analysis, and assist with reports using underwriting and business intelligence tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with anticipated enrollment in Fall 2027.
• Two or more years of college coursework completed; rising Junior or Senior.

Responsibilities

• Learn underwriting fundamentals through mentorship and hands-on training.
• Support business unit financial reporting and analysis.
• Assist with preparing financial and operational reports using underwriting and BI tools.
• Support pipeline management and underwriting operations activities.
• Participate in client, broker, and stakeholder meetings.
• Review loss summaries and assist with account analysis.
