Qualifications

• Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Risk and Insurance Management or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communications are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting tasks including new business files, policy changes, and review of supplemental information such as loss runs and inspections.
• Receive hands-on training in underwriting processes, Harford Mutual appetite, target classes, and systems.
• Collaborate with intern(s) to create and present a project on an underwriting topic to senior management.
