Job summary

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in commercial underwriting, 3+ in leadership, NC residency, and a strong grasp of SBA 7(a) and related guidelines. Excellent communication and strategic oversight are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 6+ years in commercial/small business underwriting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth financial statement analysis and loan structuring.
• Prepare credit memoranda and present recommendations.
• Mentor and develop analysts/underwriters; conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with policies and program guidelines.
• Collaborate with Directors to manage workflow and portfolio risk.
