Job summary

Western National Insurance Group is seeking a Support Specialist to join the Commercial Lines team in Anchorage. The role provides quality administrative support to underwriters and agencies, rating and entering transactions in established systems, and contributing to a solid training program and ongoing career path.

The ideal candidate will have strong proofreading, Word/Excel, communication, and workload management skills, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Proofread written and electronic documents to identify and correct errors.
• Intermediate Word and Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely customer service to underwriters and agencies.
• Rates and enters transactions for commercial lines with focus on operations.
• Starts the department’s transactions and directs them to the proper area.
• Keeps accurate and current records in designated systems.
• Updates routine reports and clarifies information.
