Swiss Re’s Graduate Programme for Early-Career Talent in the United States invites recent graduates to rotate through underwriting teams and gain hands-on experience in risk assessment, portfolio management and decision-making.

As an Underwriting Analyst, you’ll work with colleagues across underwriting, engineering, claims, pricing and client management, contributing to risk evaluation, analytics and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or related.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is expected.
• No more than three years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Review client submissions and exposure information to develop underwriting insights.
• Assist in underwriting large and complex property risks across industries.
• Analyze risk characteristics and market conditions to support decisions.
• Collaborate with risk engineering and operations to support end-to-end underwriting.
• Prepare materials for account reviews and presentations to senior stakeholders.
