Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Risk Management & Insurance, or Data Analytics; relevant master's degrees may be considered.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is expected.
• No more than three years of professional experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish with strong communication skills.
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies for underwriting analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review risk factors for projects across industries such as infrastructure and engineering.
• Assess emerging risks and global critical projects (e.g., semiconductor plants, data centres).
• Review technical reports, coverage terms, loss history, financial information and market trends.
• Analyze risk information to prepare informed policy decisions on acceptance or rejection.
• Calculate premiums based on risk, catastrophe exposure, and coverage under guidelines.
• Collaborate with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to develop underwriting views.
• Participate in client meetings and cross-functional projects as experience grows.
• Support risk selection, pricing, and underwriting recommendations under supervision.
• Engage in cross-functional projects to understand the underwriting value chain.
