Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an Underwriter for Lender Placed Insurance (LPI) to support underwriting execution, risk assessment, pricing analysis and portfolio monitoring for Mortgage Hazard, Auto CPI, Blanket/VSI and Flood products.

This individual will report to the Vice President of Underwriting and collaborate with the AWLS team and cross-functional partners. The role requires underwriting experience in LPI or related lines, strong analytical skills, and the ability to develop

Qualifications

• Underwriting experience in LPI or related lines.
• Ability to evaluate risk, interpret loss experience, analyze financial information, and make recommendations.
• Experience with pricing models and portfolio reviews is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk selection, pricing, and program structure within authority and guidelines.
• Document underwriting guidelines, pricing assumptions, and portfolio optimization with AWLS team.
• Analyze portfolio performance, loss trends, audits and KPIs to identify issues and recommended actions.
• Refer large or complex accounts to senior leadership with clear analysis.
