Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an Underwriter for Lender Placed Insurance (LPI) to support underwriting execution, risk evaluation, pricing analysis, and portfolio monitoring for LPI products.

The role reports to the VP of Underwriting and collaborates with the AWLS team, business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate has LPI underwriting experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• Underwriting experience in lender-placed insurance or related lines.
• Ability to evaluate risk, analyze financial information, and provide underwriting recommendations.
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools; experience with audits and pricing models.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk selection, pricing, and program structure within authority and guidelines.
• Support development of underwriting guidelines, pricing assumptions, and portfolio optimization.
• Analyze portfolio performance, loss trends, audits, and KPIs; propose corrective actions.
• Maintain underwriting documentation, pricing models and risk assessments; support cross-functional collaboration.
