Arch Insurance Group Inc. is recruiting an Underwriter for Lender Placed Insurance (LPI) to support underwriting execution, risk evaluation, pricing analysis, and portfolio monitoring.

The role reports to the VP of Underwriting and collaborates with the AWLS team and cross-functional partners. The position requires a bachelor's degree in business-related fields or economics, plus relevant underwriting experience and professional designations or progress toward CPCU/AINS/ARe.

Qualifications

• Underwriting experience in LPI, specialty insurance, lender-placed insurance, or related lines.
• Ability to evaluate risk, interpret loss experience, analyze financial information, and prepare sound underwriting recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk selection, pricing, and program structure within authority and guidelines.
• Support development of underwriting guidelines, pricing assumptions, and portfolio optimization with AWLS team.
• Analyze portfolio performance, loss trends, audits, and KPIs; identify issues and propose corrective actions.
• Refer large or complex accounts to senior leadership with analysis and recommended next steps.
