Job description

Insurance Underwriter - Environmental Pollution Liabilities Specialty Program

Remote work from home opportunity with a focus on environmental pollution storage tank chemical risk, including midnight dumping, pesticides, herbicides, asbestos, mold, toxic tort, leaking, and surplus commercial lines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and underwrite profitable new and renewal business, including overflow from teammates.
2. Review submissions according to authorized guidelines.
3. Price, quote, and bind insurance business.
4. Review engineering surveys.
5. Cross-sell other product lines to enhance overall business growth.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with key brokers for larger accounts.
7. Support service standards in product delivery.
