Job description

Insurance Underwriter - Environmental Pollution Liabilities Specialty Program

Join our team as an Insurance Underwriter specializing in Environmental Pollution Liabilities within our Excess Surplus Commercial Lines Program. This role offers the flexibility of remote work from home.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze complex environmental risks and underwrite policies such as Premises Pollution Liability, Environmental General Liability, Contractors Environmental Liability, and Commercial General Liability.
2. Review, analyze, and decide to accept or decline risks.
3. Order and evaluate reports to support rating and underwriting decisions.
4. Manage a renewal book and actively solicit new business.
5. Participate in audits and work on optimizing underwriting processes.
6. Develop and maintain profitable relationships with agents and brokers.
7. Assist Junior Underwriters with complex submissions.
