Job summary

PURIS is seeking a hands-on laborer to support trenchless rehabilitation projects in New York. You will partner with supervisors to locate, investigate, and clean sewer and stormwater lines, operate equipment, and maintain safety on site.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, prior outdoor construction experience, and a CDL is preferred. Willingness to travel up to 90% and lift 50–75 lbs as needed. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Experience in a physical labor position with outdoor construction.
• CDL preferred; acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work with supervisors on water and sewer rehabilitation and repair projects.
• Direct equipment with alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery.
• Assist in setup and cleanup of job sites; lift up to 50–75 lbs.
• Review permits and pre/post-installation videos.
• Enter manholes and confined spaces as needed.
• Operate vehicles to haul equipment and crew.
• Submit vehicle/equipment maintenance work orders.
• Monitor safety hazards and report to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
